Some sad news to tell the group,

One of our longest-standing members and ex-chairman of LMRG, Alan Morton, passed away on Wednesday 18th December 2024.

He had been ill for a while and was rushed into hospital on Monday 16th December.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Monday 20th January 2025 10.30am at Gilroes Crematorium, Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9QG

He will be sorely missed by his close friends and members of the club.

The photo shows just a small part of our large "OO"- gauge layout which is all DCC-controlled. Club members can run their own locos and coaches / wagons here and on the Test track (DC controlled).
